E40D - Dual Disc Check Valves

Dual disc check valves are light and compact in comparison to standard check valves and have lower installation cost. An extensive range of materials, sizes and pressure classes are available.

Advastas dual disc check valves are produced in 3 basic body style which are Wafer type, Lug type, and Double Flanged type. In the Lug type, the through and threaded holes are optionally manufactured upon customers request. The ring joint - type is also available for both Lug type and Double Flanged type.

At pump start-up flowing fluid enters the valve from the seat end and forces the two disc to open fully. When there is a counter flow or in pump shut-down the valve closes rapidly with help of the torsion springs.

When compared with other types of check valves, it has the ability to work in any orientation, vertical-opposite, horizontal or inclined.
